Shawn Malhotra is Chief Technology Officer of Rocket Companies, leading enterprise technology strategy, AI development, data science, product engineering, technology operations and information security. Appointed Rocket’s first group CTO in 2024, he is accelerating the company’s AI-fueled homeownership strategy, applying automation and intelligent experiences to simplify the mortgage journey. Previously, Malhotra led engineering and product development at Thomson Reuters, where he helped build generative AI platforms and product-wide AI capabilities.
