Understanding the real threats of generative AI
We’re in the “trough of disillusionment” for AI. Business models are falling apart, hallucinations haven’t been (totally) fixed, and cynicism is growing.
In this fireside chat, Greg Shove sits down with Blood in the Machine author Brian Merchant to discuss the real and perceived threats of AI. They’ll answer questions like:

- What actual threat does AI pose to our jobs right now?
- Which threats are overblown, and which aren’t getting enough attention?
