About ProfAI
ProfAI is an AI-powered platform built by Section that’s currently in beta. The platform is built on top of OpenAI’s GPT models and uses AI to answer user questions about the course material and guide users through completing their project.
How PROFAI Works
Information entered by users into ProfAI via prompts is not indexed by OpenAI. OpenAI retains a copy of the conversation to generate subsequent questions and answers as part of the user experience, but OpenAI cannot use any prompts or parts of the conversation to train their models.
Any information entered into ProfAI is indexed by Section. Section may access this information only to review AI prompts for safety or to train and improve the ProfAI experience. This means a human on the Section team may review your prompt and AI’s output, and assess AI’s response. We also may upload your prompt and AI’s response back into ProfAI as an example of a good or bad response. This allows us to reinforce and improve AI’s results based on human analysis.
